It’s that time of the year!! Pumpkins everywhere!!! Some of my favorite memories are from sitting down with my daughter and carving the pumpkins for Trick or Treat. Like everyone else, we always had a time with making them last. The kids wanting to carve the pumpkins as soon as they started seeing them in the stores and the Tennessee warm weather, just wasn’t the right mix to keep the newly carved pumpkin faces from turning into a messy, smelly lump of fly attracting mush. Well, some people have found some great remedies over the years for extending the life of our hand carved masterpieces.
